There is no doubt that often repeated statement “our children are our future” is true. The question is how do we provide our children the solid foundation to build our future?
There are many answers. There are many methods. There are many programs.
There are many parents who struggle, there are many leaders who worry, there are many organisations who work, all doing their best to answer that question.
Here at Nawawi Center we are struggling with the same question. Our Active Muslim Explorers Program (AME) is part of our response. The program began in 2016. It has been successfully providing activities for our boys and girls ranging from intermediate to high school. We organize weekend adventures, holiday programs, and weekly classes every Monday at the Riccarton Library.
MONTHLY RETREAT
This year we are excited to launch our Monthly Retreats. These will be day long programs for our AMEzing boys and girls one saturday of every month. Boys 1st Saturday and Girls 2nd Saturday of each month.
This Saturday 4th of August we will have our first Boys Retreat. Next Saturday 11th of August we will have our first girls Retreat.
