InshaAllah there will be an open day for the Active Muslim Explorers programme!

Join us to learn more about the AME programme, a Saturday school program for intermediate to highschool boys that will help your child embrace their identities in a fun and powerful way.
After a successful 10 week pilot program and feedback from our AMEzing boys, the program is continuing this year with much improvement.
The boys have experienced and learned many new things through activites such as tramping, martial arts, learning about science in Islam and attempting islamic art and calligraphy etc. These not only helped build strong friendships and communication skills amongst the boys but also expanded their Islamic knowledge as this particular programme focuses on “improving spiritual awareness rather than ritualistic learning”.
On the day, Dr Mohammad Zeidan, one of the program planners, will be presenting a slide about AME’s objectives and share photos of the past activities to the present and future AMEzing Whanau.
Structure of the Programme:
This open day will explore the structure of the program which constitutes four elements / building blocks:
Learning through nature
- Participants will learn Allah’s attributes
Islam is a way of life
- Participants will learn from the Quran and the Sunnah
Personal/ team building activities
- Participants will work together in sport or project
Community programme
- Participants will engage with the community
